A Quiet Journey Through the Area
If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, a midweek stay is just what you need. One of the best advantages to booking in the week is that the local area is often much quieter, with less tourists and no weekend visitors busying the area. That means there’s more opportunity to explore your surroundings, taking in famous landmarks, local sights and unique businesses without queues and noise.
This also extends to the inn itself, where you’ll be able to enjoy a hearty meal and a relaxing drink in the bar and dining area with more room and less sound, creating a peaceful atmosphere for you to enjoy your time with us.
Extend Your Weekend
Midweek breaks can make the perfect lead into a fun and adventure-filled weekend getaway. Monday to Friday includes plenty of work responsibilities and tasks to be completed, but if you're fortunate enough to be able to work remotely, book your stay from Thursday to Friday. That way, you can arrive at the Royal Thursday night to enjoy a drink and a meal in the evening, then work at the inn on Friday, either in our lounge area or in one of the conference areas. That way, you’ll be ready and settled Friday evening to enjoy your weekend stay.
Break Up Your Work Week
A midweek break can be the perfect tonic for a particularly stressful 5 days, giving you a chance to pause in the middle of your working week to recharge your batteries and collect yourself. If you work Monday, then take Tuesday to Thursday off to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful stay with us, you’ll be back in the office refreshed on Friday to catch up on the week’s updates, ready to enjoy the weekend with a fresh mind and new energy.
